The self-priming FRISTAM FZ pumps are based on the side channel principle: impellers with radially arranged blades in conjunction with the hydrodynamically optimized side channels transmit the pressure energy to the medium being pumped. Very small packed sealing gaps ensure excellent suction capacities which both allow the suction pipes to be vented and also make it possible to pump gaseous products. This optimises the draining of residue in cleaning processes.
Short priming times prevent long product residue dwell times.
