FRISTAM FK pumps are rotary piston pumps for exceptional pumping tasks. The principle of the area seal between pistons, casings with fixed hubs and covers, permits product pumping at high levels of efficiency.
The design of the FRISTAM FK pumps prevents a backflow from the pressure side to the suction side even at high discharge pressures. The special design of the non-contact, contra-rotating pistons ensures that the product is not squeezed but is displaced non-destruc-tively.
Due to this combination of features FRISTAM FK rotary piston pumps are particularly suitable for:
• inhomogeneous products with high-volume additives
• large suction heads
• discharge pressures up to 20 bar
• high viscosities up to 1,000,000 mPas
FRISTAM FK pumps can be fitted with optional single-vane pistons for highly sensitive media and products with large suspended soft solids.
They are completely suitable for the CIP method and can be sterilized. They can either be supplied with a heating jacket or a cooling jacket and with horizontal or vertical ports.
The patent FRISTAM eccentric shaft seal is automatically protected against twisting so it is particularly ideal for sticky products and ones which tend to harden. Sealing water can also be provided.
